Sherrie’s passion for graphic design and all things printing began in kindergarten. That was when she discovered that ink from her “Weekly Reader” could be transferred using Silly Putty to notebook paper and pretty much anything else that stood still. That began a life-long love of all things printed. Sherrie has been a professional graphic artist ever since she discovered that art was a lot easier than working.

Being the child of a DoD family afforded her abundant travel and the opportunity to hone her “never meeting a stranger” skills at four different elementary schools. Sherrie learned the finer points of negotiating from her two brothers usually over who should drive and be in charge.

A proud Academy of Richmond County graduate, she endured college before enrolling in 奥古斯塔 Technical Institute to pursue a diploma in Printing and Graphics. This diploma and the skills that accompanied it have served her well. In her former life she owned and operated her own printing firm. Sherrie decided to begin her teaching career when it became almost impossible to find trained and qualified employees in the industry. Sherrie oversees the production schedule for live work and collateral work for the college while teaching a full class load. Looking back at her almost twenty-five-year career, she believes she made the correct decision.
